Staff Meeting: Introduction to Havening (Day 1 of 2)

Focus: Staff Meeting
For: School Leaders, Subject Leaders, Teachers

Description:

What is Havening? The Havening Techniques® are a healing modality that is designed to help individuals overcome problems that are the consequence of traumatic encoding by the brain developed by Dr. Ronald Ruden MD Ph.D.

The Havening Techniques® belong to a larger group of methods called psychosensory therapies that use sensory input to alter thought, emotions, mood and behaviour. The effect of the Havening touch also produces a calm pleasant state, so it can also be used to work on positive states, behaviours, and to help build up resilience, self-confidence, reduce stress, break the pattern of anxiety to name a few.

Staff will gain an insight into the background and neuroscience behind the Havening Technique. Through self-application staff will experience first-hand the benefits of this technique.
