He leads Brightcore Consultancy; a team of consultants who have a particular focus on enhancing safeguarding and mental health provision in education settings.
He is both an Advanced Safeguarding Trainer and Senior Mental Health Lead Trainer.

Description:
The Changing Online Landscape: understanding the risks and opportunities faced by children and young people today.
During this 60-minute session we will focus on understanding recent changes and developments in the online world. We review the changing risks for children and young people who are operating online in ever increasing amounts of time each day, including from a mental health and wellbeing perspective.
We will not only examine the evolving risk and trends, but also look at how we can all respond to these developments positively from an educational perspective, ensuring our children are both protected and supported whilst engaging in the exciting and ever developing online world.
Director’s Note:
It’s a requirement for all staff to be trained in this. We are ensuring this is done to a high standard without additional work being placed on school staff.
