Sarah AtkinsSarah is a qualified teacher who has taught extensively across all key stages over her 22-year career. She is qualified to lead, instruct and coach a range of outdoor activities and is one of only 25 nationally Accredited Members of the Outdoor Education Advisers Panel.
Sarah has substantial experience of day, residential and curriculum-based outdoor learning and education. Sarah held the position of Deputy Head of Outdoor Education and the Outdoor Adviser role for Coventry Local Authority for 8 years and has held the position of part-time development officer for the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom for over 12 months.

Session 1: Leadership Fundamentals

Those involved in the supervision of young people engaged in educational visits (e.g., teachers, youth workers, social service workers, teaching assistants etc.)
Specifically outlining a short overview of the following:
- Legal Expectation
- Planning
- Risk Management,
- Emergency Plan in brief
Multiple Sessions:
This is a two session programme. All two sessions must be attended.
