Session 6: Developing confident learners
Leading High-Impact Teaching has been designed as a Train the Trainer type programme and is aimed at lead practitioners and individuals who have a responsibility for leading teaching and learning throughout their school.
Issues explored include:
- How professionals establish worthwhile approaches to high-impact interaction
- Effective questioning and other essential skills
- Feedback for learning
- The three domains for greater-depth learning
- Considering the interpersonal, intrapersonal and cognitive domains of highlyeffective teaching
- Cognitive load theory
- Metacognition and learning behaviours
Multiple Sessions:
This is a six session programme. All six sessions must be attended.
