Description:

Day 1: Identifying key improvement priorities. Developing an effective and sustainable school improvement strategy – EEF Implementation in action.

This 5 day course is aimed at Executive Head Teachers, Head Teachers, Heads of School, Principals and Senior Leaders who are responsible for school improvement. It will provide an in depth opportunity to conduct a deep dive into your school’s effectiveness and provide practical support to prioritise key areas for improvement.

Gap tasks will support you in collecting relevant evidence and designing an effective implementation plan for school improvement using the principles set out in the EEF Implementation guidance. *It may be beneficial for 2 leaders from the same school to attend together.

Day 1 will examine the effectiveness of your current School Development Plan and help you to rationalise your priorities, reframing them as key issues that need to be solved.

You will leave the session with a clear idea of what needs to improve and what next steps you need to take to further explore the issues you have identified.

This is a five session programme. All five sessions must be attended.
