Kate RedheadPrimary Science Teaching Trust
Kate is a Regional Mentor for the Primary Science Teaching Trust, based in the West Midlands, and works supporting schools and science leaders in delivering excellent science. She is a member of the ASE Primary Science Editorial Board and ASE West Midlands Committee, as well as a Regional Champion for the Great Science Share. In her spare time, Kate is a Trustee for Children’s University and a part-time EdD student at Birmingham University.

A two-day course.
Good subject leadership has a positive impact on the quality of science teaching in primary schools. You will explore a range of strategies to audit and lead science in your school, understand your role more fully and be able to identify and promote effective primary science.
You will be able to:
- Set and manage processes for leading science effectively
- Lead change in your school to support delivery of the new primary science curriculum
