Catherine Lewis
Catherine was a Headteacher for 12 years and has worked in primary education for over 28 years in 4 very different schools. She led her last school through 5 successful Ofsted inspections.
She is now working as an education consultant supporting schools with early years development, phonics and reading as well as leadership challenge and support. She also works closely with the local English Hub.
Catherine is committed to helping schools to develop their leadership potential to ensure the highest levels of ambition for all learners.

This session will enable you to demonstrate how you as a leader, are prioritising reading in your school. What actions you have taken? What impact these have had and how you can evidence all of this?
Director’s Note:
You get ‘the call’. You know they’re going to talk about reading. Answering with “My English teacher is all over it” won’t cut it. Be prepared. Be ready. This session will support you.
