Craig worked predominately in primary schools during his 20 year career as a teacher, senior leader and most recently a Head Teacher. This has been at a range of schools including an Outstanding National Teaching School.

In his role as Head Teacher as part of a Multi-Academy Trust he worked closely with other heads in a coaching role and in a collaborative role taking part in peer reviews of both primary and secondary schools.

In 2021, Craig left his headship to work for himself full time and now runs Education Safeguarding which provides online KCSiE training for schools to use to ensure they fulfil their statutory requirements.
